Our company Acme Agriculture & Food Ltd. (est. 2008) is an agrifood business operating in two locations: Vaughan (organic food processing & distribution) and Haileybury (organic crop production & grain processing). We haven been certified with Pro-cert for more than 10 years! --Time flies! :-) There are still a lots to learn and explore!!!


I am both a P.Ag. and P.Eng. of Ontario. I had 180 degrees transformation of my career or interest from Materials Engineer into Organic Agribusiness. Guess now, I am still involved with material but in the "Living Matter".--perhaps Agricultural Engineering? Sustainable environment, adaptation to climate change, soil preservation, regenerative agriculture, organic/ healthy foods, holistic managements, biodiversification, non-gmo, utilization of biomaterials, biofuel, utilization of farm by-products, etc. are some of my interests in applying to our business operation.

We also promote support, sales, services related to grain / food processing equipment. Sample of our projects include: seed conditioning/cleaning (gravity table, destoner, intend cleaner, debearder), artisan malting, soya bean processing (tofu/soya milk), edible oil (sunflower, hemp, flax, etc.), general flour milling, dehulling, buckwheat processing, pellets mill, feed mill (hammer mill, mixer, flaking), biodiesel development, and other related value added grain processing for vertical integration of farm operation. EFAO is a good start up point for new farmers....In fact, I started my A-B-C or learning rope with approaching EFAO in Guelph. Well, for missing many actual in person events, I am been too busy with doing business in two locations......Yes, show must go on as the mighty Sun (never fails) always support the existence of living matters! :-)
