A lively panel discussion and Q&A on EFAO's new and ongoing research initiatives. Rav Singh from Shade of Miti will discuss her experience selecting okra varieties as part of a multi-farm trial in cooperation EFAO's Farmer-Led Research Program, Ken Laing from Orchard Hill Farm will share information and updates from his Living Lab-Ontario no-till vegetable trials, and Angie Koch and Nikola Barsoum will talk about EFAO's new seed demonstration gardens, which they are managing in partnership with Seeds of Diversity.

Rav is a new and young farmer from Mississauga. She runs Shade of Miti, a small-scale farm in Caledon where she focuses on climate action. Rav specializes in growing South Asian vegetables, such as okra and bitter melon.
