EFAO Conference 2022

When a small group of ecological farmers and concerned citizens in Erin got together to address climate change at the grassroots level, the links to soil health became the central focus. Five years later, the lessons from diverse farmer-to-farmer knowledge-sharing, citizen scientist involvement and local soil monitoring have generated a new level of community engagement inspired by the question "What would soil do?" As one of the founding farmers, Val will share stories and insights gleaned over 5 years with the hope that a CommonGround approach might inspire other rural neighbourhoods.
