Climate Change Adaptation in Grazing Practices- Cattle Edition!

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In this panel, moderated by Brenda Hsueh, farmers will share how they have adapted their grazing practices to cope with the realities of a changing climate, from drought, higher temperatures in summer/a longer summer slump, flooding, extreme weather events, and other considerations. The discussion will also touch on the benefits and challenges of choosing grazing practices that minimize climate emissions, and help improve production, profitability, carbon sequestration, drought resilience, biodiversity and soil health.

This session is an OSCIA-recognized On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) Knowledge Sharing Event (KSE) for applicants with approved Rotational Grazing Systems projects. Questions about OFCAF should be directed to OFCAF@ontariosoilcrop.org. You must attend this session LIVE (not watch a recording) in order to submit it as a KSE.
