Most days, you can find Chris Moore putting up temporary fencing for the sheep of Shady Creek Lamb Company, at either a 200-acre solar site, cover crops, or corn stalks. Moore and his partner, Lyndsey Smith, have spent the last six years expanding their sheep flock through the use of creative, off-site grazing and wintering in silvopasture. A member of the Ontario Soil Network, Moore is passionate about soil health, ruminants as solutions to climate challenges, and discussing new ideas over a cold beverage.
