Dani Baker
Dani Baker is a self-taught organic farmer and forest gardener who began planning and planting her “Enchanted Edible Forest” garden in 2013. The farm and garden are located on Wellesley Island in the St. Lawrence River between New York and Canada. There, she and her partner, David Belding, grow certified organic fruits and vegetables and raise grass-fed beef and goats. In May of 2022 her book, The Home-Scale Forest Garden: How to Plan, Plant and Tend a Resilient Edible Landscape, was published by Chelsea Green. She conducts tours and workshops in her garden and takes particular pleasure in inspiring others to try their hand at incorporating permaculture principles in their edible plantings.
