Jessica Pfisterer along with her husband Ryan are first generation farmers in Wellington County farming their 100ac parcel since 2019. They have built a direct to consumer pasture based, grass fed meat business serving Waterloo, Wellington, and Dufferin counties. As Artisanal Chicken Farmers they grow 1600 chickens annually on pasture and are one of the few producers raising Rustic Ranger meat chickens. They have developed a unique CSA (community supported agriculture) model to presell 90% of their chicken and have continued their commitment of sustainable farming right through to last mile distribution.
