Kimiko and Tessa have been farming at Merkaba Acres in Bobcaygeon since 2019. Their operation includes a 1-acre market garden and a herd of Wagyu-Angus cattle. They raise grass-fed, grass-finished beef on a 40-acre rotational grazing system with the goal of producing healthy pasture, healthy animals and healthy food. As new farmers they are perpetually learning, and have benefited greatly from the sharing of information and ideas. They hope to contribute to to an inclusive, resilient farming community by in turn sharing their experiences and learnings.
